To My Future Husband with Love. I hope that our Union Glories His Name.
To My Future Husband, With Love
When I meet you, that i know that it is you by the way that you love Jesus Christ and the way that you show His Love and Mercies
May I meet Christ in your words, and in everything that you do, because you see for me, He is everything from the breath that I take to each step that I make, from the visions that He gave to the Mission i serve in Him and daily consecration.
In your eyes that see beyond the surface, I hope that I see Christ in You
In the way you carry patience like a prayer, and honor purity
And joy like a quiet sunrise after the storm.
I’ve waited not for perfection, after many years in consecration I have waited for the one who would teach me how to Love better in Christ Jesus how to surrender without a single doubt. To say surely that i am ready was not and is not an understatement.
One who knows that love is not possession,
But a light passed between hearts that only meet in Christ Jesus
To reflect the glory of the One who made them. Oh, praise the Lord God Halleluja.
You have to love Him more than me otherwise you would not be able to love me as Christ loves the Church.
I come to you with a heart already full—
Full of gratitude for the path that led me here:
For my Christian family, whose prayers wrapped me in faith,
For my church, where truth took root in me,
For my ministry, where love met purpose
And where hands were trained to serve.
In me You’ll find a partner who brings sacrificial love of Christ to our table each and every day.
Who treasures helping others, and sharing her gifts of love, miracles healing and
Whose friendships are gardens of grace,
Who finds God even in the soft purr of a pet, or morning sunrises and a simple cup of coffee.
And who loves her home not for what it gives
But for where it’s placed her to shine.
Our love, I pray, will not be ordinary.
Let it be an altar, a beacon,
A ministry in motion,
A place where others see inclusion, healing,
And truth spoken in tenderness.
Together, may we give thanks
For the gifts of the Holy Spirit—
For wisdom when words are few,
For virtue when the world tempts us,
For patience when the waiting is long,
And for joy, that holy echo,
When we do the small things with great love.
I’ll bring with me the gift of repentance—
The daily return to grace,
And the knowledge that salvation isn’t a finish line,
But the breath by which we begin again.
May our laughter be holy.
May our tears water the seeds of compassion.
May our hands work not for ourselves,
But for the One who brought us together
To live, love, and lead in His name.
And when I look at you—
Truly look—
I want to see the cross etched softly in your character,
The tomb rolled away in your hope,
And the risen Christ glowing quietly in your soul.
To my future husband, with love—
Let us build not just a home,
But a living altar.
Let our union not just exist,
But radiate.
Let our story not just be told,
But testify.
Amen.
